These are the systems, accessories and additions I am incorporating into my build to add safety, convenience and function.
C5 Active Handling
I have the complete and fully functioning C5 Corvette Active Handling System installed working perfectly with no DTCs. This system incorporates four wheel ABS, Traction Control, Vehicle Stability and a Competitive Driving Mode (allowing for some wheelspin and oversteer). Go here for details.
Production Car-Like Push Button Start with RFID, PKE and Security.
Push button start sytem with the ability to turn on IGN and/or ACC independent of vehicle start. locks/Unlocks the doors at 2 meters and dis-arms system. Go here for details.
C5 IP and HUD
I have customized the IP by disasembling it and rebuilding/fabrication it to fit into the stock GTM stock dash pod. The hud is also installed and functioning.
Tire Pressure Monitor
the C5's RFA is mounted in the engine compartment passenger side wheel well. The sensors will be replaced with new with the new wheels and tires.
High Intensity Discharge Low-beam HeadLights and Angle Eye CCLF lighting
H9 HID 35watt conversion added to the projectors and high beams.
LED Floor Courtesy and Map Lights
12 inch White LED Strips illuminate the foot box areas and the map lights in the mirror have been upgraded to 10 LED replacements.
Power Hatch Release by Remote FOB
One of the duel electric hatch release mechs will be used. It incorporates the hatch open pin for security and hatch lighting (which will be white LED) when opened.
HVAC Floor Vent exit location
I did not receive vents for the floor as I have seen in other installs all of which have the air coming from the tunnel which would be hitting you on the calf. I have not owned or do I know of a production vehicle that is set up that way. So I decided to pull the hoses over the top of the unit and use 2" PVC to direct it into the foot box from the top. It works perfectly and other have already followed my set up.
