Donor Parts
Most parts were cleaned with a heavy duty cleaner after removal. The C5 was well taken care of so the majority of the grime was on the undercarage parts.
The suspension was painted with Eastwood's Alumiblast followed by a clear. The clear was added because the alumiblast did not have the gloss I wanted. The alumiblast has a very minimum gloss if any, and maybe the clear will add some longevity to the finish.

I ground the "corvette" from the front calibers followed by a 120 grit flap wheel on the grinder to smooth the surface.
I used a wire brush drill attachment to clean up the suspension arms. I could not get an even finish so I decided to procede with painting them.

I used the dulicolor caliber paint (black) followed by high temp clear.
C5 Harness
This is the COMPLETE electrical harness from the donor C5 corvette. It is intact and complete with every termination, fusebox and module. I plan to us the harness and incoporate ALL of the functions as they were on my donor. ABS, traction control, Instrument cluster, HUD ect. Will it happen? Only time will tell. Right now I have two primary concerns; redoing/fitting the instrument cluster and the EBCM harness (may have to extend each wire of the harness).
A few pictures of the donor tear-down.
